Hello Fabulous Fifth Grade Families,
I hope you all had a great weekend! I enjoyed getting to meet with you all last week. It is always nice to meet everyone’s families and share their great work! Please continue to remind your child about the importance of mutual respect between everyone in the classroom from cleaning up their area to listening to others. We had a tough day today listening in general. Until we limit the amount of time wasted redirecting behavior I will be taking away points, when needed, after a verbal warnings. We are in need of PENCILS! They get a treat at the end of the week if they keep all their pencils. We are also in need of glue sticks and small treats like tootsie rolls, starburst, and Hersey’s kisses. If you are able to help please send them in with your child. Thank you to the families who have sent in snacks and post-it notes. The students are enjoying them! Please see the attached flyers about Book Character Day and Red Ribbon Week! I heard the Fall Festival was AMAZING! We were out of town celebrating Olivia’s 9th birthday! I understand there were quite a few of our class’ families representing J Please remind your child to write down homework, important dates and other information in their agenda daily.
